These Vanilla Yoghurt Pancakes are a great easy pancake recipe for kids. No added sugar, added benefit of probiotics from the yoghurt and nutrients in the spelt flour a flaxseed. Easy to make and delicious! #easypancakerecipe #pancakes #basicpancakerecipe

Vanilla Yoghurt Pancakes


Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup Greek yoghurt
  • 1 cup spelt wholemeal plain flour
  • 1 tablespoon flaxseed meal
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

Ina large bowl combine the eggs and yoghurt.  Sift in the flour, flaxseed, baking powder and salt and stir until combined.

Heat your pan on medium-high until hot, then reduce to medium.  Grease with a little oil or butter first, then spoon batter into even sizes and cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2 minutes.  Flip over and cook a further 1-2 minutes on the other side.

Serve top with more yoghurt and maple syrup or any of your favourite toppings!
