What could possibly be better than Cheesy Pull Apart Garlic Bread served warm, straight from the oven…………
Cheesy Pull Apart Garlic Bread
Garlic bread is quite an indulgent food, but I do love using it during cold and flu season to give my kids a good hit of garlic. My son, devours garlic bread, so it’s an easy way to load him up to fight off as many germs as possible. I usually have a roll of garlic butter in the freezer, which I slice off rounds and put on top of any leftover, starting to go stale bread to give it a second life. Especially handy at the end of the grocery shopping week when stocks are getting low and you need to bulk up your dinner. Just mix 2 or 3 minced garlic cloves into a packet of softened butter and roll in plastic wrap. (you don’t need to melt the butter)
You could make this recipe from scratch using my super easy No Knead Bread recipe.
I think recipe tastes the best when made with really fresh bread with a crunchy crust. You could certainly use wholemeal or multigrain bread for a slightly healthier version.
