Butterfly Cakes


  • Yield: 36 mini butterfly cakes 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 36 pre cooked and cooled mini cupcakes or muffins
  • 1 cup pouring cream, whipped
  • sprinkles for decorating

Instructions

Once your muffins have cooled completely, cut a 2cm-deep x 3cm-wide circle from the top of each cupcake.

Cut the little tops in half.

Fill the hole with whipped cream and top with sprinkles.

Poke back in the two halves to look like wings coming out of the cakes.

Notes

You can use whatever cupcake or muffin recipe you like.

Fill with cream when ready to serve, cupcakes can be made the day before.
