Apple porridge sweetened with just grated apple and a sprinkle of cinnamon. This grated apple porridge is a great way to start the day especially for kids going off to school.
I like to make a double batch and just reheat the following day for the kids breakky.
Apple Porridge
This is such a great sugar free breakfast, especially for kindy or school mornings. I was really amazed at how tasty this was, I will be having it for breakfast myself from now on! The apple provides the sweetness without the need for any sugar or honey.
This gorgeous kid’s dinner set is from Bobo and Boo. Their sets are plastic free, made entirely from bamboo, making them both eco friendly and a healthy option for your little ones. Plus they come in a great range of colours! We love them in our house.

I have included the basic recipe for making porridge on the stove top, but I have also been told it tastes amazing made in the Thermomix. I like to use gluten free oats for my porridge, but they are not really ideal for those going gluten free, best to avoid oats all together.
