Description
Turmeric Grilled Chicken recipe – a simple chicken marinade perfect for cooking over the grill pan or BBQ.
Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- ½ cup Turmeric Golden Paste
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- coriander to serve
- lime wedges to serve
Instructions
Slice each chicken breast through the middle to make into two thinner breasts. This will speed up cooking time on the grill.
Place into a glass dish and pour over marinade, place in fridge for 12 hours to marinate.
Heat grill pan to high, brush with the coconut oil and cook chicken on 4 minutes each side, or until slightly caramelised and cooked through.
Transfer chicken to serving plate, loosely cover with foil and rest for 3 minutes.
Slice and serve garnished with coriander and lime wedges.
Notes
12 hours is an ideal time to really get the flavour into the chicken, don’t marinate longer than 48 hours as the chicken will start to break down.
Don’t marinate in metal dishes as the acid in the marinade can react.
