These are perfect for the young kids to take as snack plates for their end of year picnics, if your school does those.  We are so close to the beach, that a lot of the classrooms have an end of year picnic there, it’s just a short walk down the end of the road.  I feel so lucky to be now living in this part of the world!

Description

Strawberry Santas made with just Strawberries & Cream!  For a dairy free version, just replace the cream with coconut yoghurt.

Ingredients

Scale

12 medium-large sized strawberries

1/2 cup whipping cream or coconut yoghurt

Instructions

Cut the green leaves off each strawberry and then stand on this flat edge as the base.  Cut the tip off each strawberry, about 2/3 up from base.

Whip cream until firm peaks if using.  Place cream or yoghurt into a piping bag and cut so there is a tiny hole to create Santa’s buttons.  Do 3 white dots up each strawberry and one on the tip of each hat.

Cut the piping bag a little wider and add a dollop onto each strawberry base and then place hat on top.

Store in the fridge until ready to eat.

Notes

You could also use chocolate sprinkles to add eyes to each Santa, just place on the section of cream.
