A fun breakfast of sourdough bread soaked in an eggy mixture and fried……beats your simple toast!

Sourdough Eggy Bread with Turmeric and Sour Cream

We just spent the morning at Yallingyup Maze without doing any mazes……. crazy!  Bouncy castle + playground + coffee + teeny tiny kiddie milkshakes + puzzle games they bring out to your table + a tree to climb…… no wonder we didn’t have time to do the maze.  Came home with a board game that suggests it will teach your kids computer code while they play!  Gotta give that a go….  even looks like a board game I will enjoy playing with a 3 and 4 year old…………  well lets see……..

I have been making sourdough eggy bread for my kids since Sam first started on solids.  Bread is so easy for them to handle and this recipe is so easy, just dunk some bread in a lightly whisked eggy mixture and fry in the fry pan.  You could simply use whisked eggs and bread, this recipe I have added a little sour cream and turmeric.
