Orange & Mango Gummies are a tasty snack great for gut-health, with the goodness of gelatin, one that your kids will love! Dairy free and super easy, a great snack at home or a treat in their lunchbox.
This recipe simply uses store bought juice, but to make them even healthier, use fresh cold pressed juice, either made at home or bought locally.
Orange & Mango Gummies
These orange and mango gummies literally took me 5 mins to make this morning and were set by the time I had cleaned up after breakfast! My kids absolutely loved them, they will be great for my daughters birthday party which is coming up soon. Gelatin is great for gut health and is a source of protein.
Orange Mango Gummies Ingredients
- Orange and Mango Juice – you can use store bought, locally bought cold pressed juice, homemade juice or really any flavour juice you like.
- Gelatin – is derived from collagen and comes in sheets or powder, I have used powder in this recipe. Get hold of the best quality you can.
- Honey – this is for added sweetness but can be left out completely.
These can be made in any moulds you have at home, or even use a baking tray lined with baking paper and then once set, cut into squares. You could also make into cups and serve like you would a jelly. These are great for kids birthday parties and can add colour to the party table without loading up on sugar.
You can add these to lunchboxes, but be aware they do melt quite easily if not kept really cold, so during Summer I would probably leave them to an afternoon snack where they can be served straight from the fridge.
Natural Gelatin
Gelatin is a pure protein source that provides collagen protein with key amino acids for tissue building, repair and importantly gut wellbeing. I like using this Natural Gelatin from Nutra Organics.
For a quick and easy treat, loaded with good stuff like Vitamin C, Zinc and Folate.

Healthy Snacks for Kids
Healthy snacking can play an important part in managing hunger and boosting a childs nutrition. Snacks should be looked at as an opportunity to add nutrients and make up for nutrients missed throughout the day. A light snack like these gummies won’t impede on their next main meal such as dinner and boosts their protein intake for the day.
