These Mars Bar Easter Nests are the perfect no bake treat for Easter!
Super simple Easter Egg nests made with just 4 ingredients, are a great way to get the kids in the kitchen. Not only are they easy to make but they can be decorated with your favourite Easter treats letting the kids get creative.

MARS BAR EASTER NESTS
Made with melted Mars Bars, butter, rice bubbles and topped with mini chocolate eggs, they’re fun to make and even more fun to eat. Whether you’re making them with kids or just indulging your sweet tooth, these nests are an easy and delicious way to celebrate the season.

INGREDIENTS
- MARS BARS – chop the Mars Bars to make it easier to melt.
- BUTTER – I used unsalted butter but you can use any butter you prefer.
- RICE BUBBLES – any rice bubbles or rice puffs will work.
- ASSORTED MINI CHOCOLATE EASTER EGGS – these can be any flavour you prefer, plain chocolate, caramel, speckled, smarties, oreo, crunchie, dream just to name a few.

Can you use other chocolate bars instead of Mars Bars?
Yes! you can try this recipe with Snickers for an extra crunch with peanuts, Milky Way bars or plain chocolate blocks.
What can I use instead of rice bubbles?
If you don’t want to use rice bubbles you can use rice puffs or quinoa puffs.
What are some other decorating ideas I can use?
Apart from mini chocolate eggs you can break up larger chocolate eggs and place the bits in the nests. Some other option include sprinkles, smarties, m&m’s, shredded coconut or mini chocolate Easter bunnies.
HOW TO MAKE MARS BAR EASTER NESTS


STEP 1
Grease a muffin tray and set aside.
Chop Mars bars and butter to small pieces and add to saucepan.
STEP 2
Stir continuously until melted, over medium heat.


STEP 3
Working quickly combine melted chocolate and butter with rice bubbles and spoon into greased muffin trays.
STEP 4
Use a small scoop to make indents in the centre or each, I also used my fingers to push down further and neaten the edges around the tops.

Description
- You will need 2 x 6 hole jumbo muffin trays or 2 x 12 hole mini muffin trays
Ingredients
- 240g of Mars Bars
- 75g butter
- 3 cups rice bubbles
- Darrell Lea Speckeld Eggs or any coloured candy coated eggs
Instructions
Grease a muffin tray and set aside.
Chop Mars bars and butter to small pieces and add to saucepan.
Stir continuously until melted, over medium heat.
Working quickly combine melted chocolate and butter with rice bubbles and spoon into greased muffin trays.
Use a small scoop to make indents in the centre or each, I also used my fingers to push down further and neaten the edges around the tops.
Notes
- Silicon trays are the best as the nests will pop out easily.
- I just gave a light spray with coconut or olive oil spray.
- If you are using the jumbo size muffin trays I used 3 mini eggs in each nest.
- If you are using the mini size muffin trays I used 1 mini egg in each nest.
