CHICKEN TERIYAKI LUNCHBOX

Description

The recipe below is for our Air Fryer Chicken Teriyaki. 


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 x skin on boneless chicken thighs

MARINADE

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce or tamari
  • 1 tbsp coconut sugar
  • 1 tbsp mirin
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil

TO SERVE

  • rice
  • sesame seeds
  • spring onion
  • cucumber
  • avocado

Instructions

Place all marinade ingredients in a bowl and marinate chicken for 20 minutes.

AIR FRYER 

Place marinated chicken into air fryer and cook for 10-12 minutes at 200°C.

To check if cooked, pierce the thickest part of the thigh with a knife to see if the juices run clear.

PAN

Place frypan on low heat, add marinated chicken.Cook skin side down to start chicken after 5 minutes and cook for a further 5 minutes or until cooked through.

Notes

Cook rice as per packet.
