Carrot + Apple Juice. A super simple, kid friendly juice to start your day.
Carrot + Apple Juice
When I am feeling organised in the morning I tend to make myself a veggie juice. I usually add beetroot to mine and the kids normally don’t even want to taste it. One morning I gave them a taste after I had only juiced the carrot and apple and they loved it.
Such an easy way to sneak in a veggie at breakfast, especially as it is hard to steer my son away from Nutrigrain and cream. (don’t even ask!)
If you think you need a high powered fancy juicer to make this juice, then think again. Check out the archaic model I am still using! Ha ha I think I will need to upgrade soon though, based on the occasional burning smell……
This is the one I am saving for…… can even roll out pasta!
This is an Amazon Australia affiliate link, but it will be on my kitchen bench very soon!
Carrot + Apple Juice
- Yield: 3 small juices 1x
Description
Ingredients
- 3 apples
- 2 carrots
Instructions
Wash your carrots and apples well.
Roughly chop and put through your juicer.
Serve over ice.
Notes
Drink juice straight away, fresh juice can go rancid very quickly.
It’s easier to pre cut your fruit and veg rather than trying to make a couple of days worth of juice.
Add lemon juice if you want it to last a bit longer.
