A healthy and filling smoothie bowl full of fruit, yoghurt and a secret vegetable! Great as an immunity and energy boosting breakfast for your kids.
Breakfasts would be so easy if I could just give my kids Nutrigrain every morning…… they can make it themselves, they will happily sit down and eat it and it will be gone in about a minute. However, this is not the best start to the day, so always on the lookout for a quick and easy breakfast that the kids will love as much as their favourite Nutrigrain.
the perfect pink kid’s smoothie bowl
makes 3 kids bowls
2 cups strawberries
½ an avocado
½ a frozen banana
½ cup natural/greek yoghurt
½ cup raw cauliflower, roughly chopped
5 macadamia nuts
1 tsp vanilla extract
shaved coconut for garnish (optional)
extra strawberries chopped finely for garnish (optional)
beetroot powder for garnish (optional)
cacao nibs for garnish (optional)
Place banana, cauliflower and nuts in mixing bowl and blend 20 sec / speed 9. Add remaining ingredients and blend 20 sec / speed 8. Pour into bowls and top with your choice of garnish.
