A fun breakfast perfect for the kids in the house and will keep them full for hours!
Georgia had her first dance concert last weekend and since then her favourite game is lining all her teddies up in front of the mat, giving each one a ticket, pressing play for music on her toy laptop and then doing a dance concert for all her toys……. so cute!
In between dance concerts though I am really struggling to get her to eat breakfast, she is fine with dinners but barely has a couple of mouthfuls in the morning, so we are trialing a few options to see if she will eat more of any. I think the issue is she loves her meat and vegies, but I don’t know if I have the energy to whip up a hot cooked breakky for her every morning……
Today we tried this one, she ate some of it, but I think I enjoyed it more than she did…….
The chia seeds are optional, I add them as they are a great way to add extra goodness to pretty much anything. They are rich in (among many other things); fiber, omega-3 fats, protein, calcium, zinc, vitamins A, B, E, D, magnesium and anti oxidants
sourdough toast with banana, peanut butter and chia seeds
Spread your toast with peanut butter, finely sliced banana and sprinkle with chia seeds. Easy!
