I love celebrating my kids birthdays and tend to make a big day of it………. possibly too big, but hey I love a good party….. even if its for 2 year olds. Gradually I have been getting more and more sugar free at our parties and this was the party food for Georgia’s 2nd birthday. (she is about to turn 3 so am a little late in posting this!) We had a bouncy castle, so the kids were able to burn off all their energy from this bucket load of colour, fruit and vegetables and healthy snacks.
It was so much fun filling my fridge with all these bright colours and really inspired me to shop like this more often! and it was really easy as there was no baking or cooking! Just grab anything that looks bright and group together in similar colours, here are a few things I put out……
Healthy Kids Party Food
green kiwi fruit
avocado on bread
rice paper rolls made with coconut rice & kiwi fruit
orange cherry tomatoes
pickled carrot (pickled with the beetroot)
purple carrot sticks
pineapple juice gummies (just replace juice with pineapple juice in the recipe link)
yellow kiwi fruit
white chocolate rice bubble slice
cream cheese on crackers
rice paper rolls made with coconut rice and strawberries
dip of strawberries and cream cheese (just blend in food processor)
