A delicious and easy smoothie rich in antioxidants and a great morning energy booster!
So my two year old barely touched her dinner last night, I pull it out this morning and she asks for it, then sits down and eats the lot… mmmm maybe she will eat her best meal in the morning. Royal Breakfasts have the theory to serve dinner for breakfast and end the day with a really meal, giving you all the energy for the day ahead. I do prefer a hot cooked savoury breakfast. This may be the way to go for us.
Here is a great recipe for sneaking some vegies in to your kids;
green mango smoothie bowl
2 handfuls spinach
1 frozen banana
2 cups frozen mango pieces
2 tbsp natural yoghurt
sliced banana, optional garnish
shaved coconut, optional garnish
mango pieces, optional garnish
natural yoghurt, optional garnish
Place spinach, banana and mango into mixing bowl and blend 30 sec / speed 8. Repeat until smooth. Add milk and yoghurt and mix 20 sec / speed 6. Pour into bowl and top with garnishes.
NON THERMOMIX METHOD
Place spinach, banana and mango into a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Add milk and yoghurt and pulse until well combined. Pour into bowl and top with garnishes.
